New ratings for 6 child car seats added

CREP has published new ratings for six child car seats. The ratings include three child car seats that can be used in forward facing mode with in-built harnesses for children aged from six months to eight years.

In this round, one of the rearward/forward facing convertibles -  Love-N-Care Orion - was not crash tested in forward facing mode.

CREP is a partnership between Transport for NSW, The National Roads & Motorists' Association, Royal Automobile Club of Victoria, Transport Accident Commission, VicRoads and Kidsafe Australia.

Ratings for the six child car seats have been added to the website.

Convertible seats for babies up to 12 months in rearward facing mode, then for babies from 6 months to children up to 4 years in forward facing mode.
