New ratings for 6 child car seats published

CREP has published new ratings for six child car seats. The ratings include two child car seats with ISOFIX attachments.

CREP is a partnership between The National Roads & Motorists' Association, Transport for NSW (TfNSW), Royal Automobile Club of Victoria (RACV), Transport Accident Commission (TAC) and VicRoads.

Ratings for the following child restraints have been added to the website:

Rearward-facing restraints for babies up to 6 months:

Forward-facing restraints for children from 6 months to 4 years:

​Convertible restraints for babies up to 12 months in rearward-facing mode then for toddlers up to 4 years in forward-facing mode:

  • Infa-Secure Cosi Compact (also known as Neon, Ascent and Aurora)
  • Maxi-Cosi A2 Euro ISOfix Compatible (This seat has been recalled)
